Jodrell Bank plays host to music festival

The famous UK energy site, Jodrell Bank will this summer play host to the first ever music festival with the likes of The Flaming Lips making an appearance.

‘Live from Jodrell Bank’ will take place on Friday 1st and Saturday July 2nd and promises to be a night to remember for the first festival of its kind.

Confirmed for the event is Grammy award-winning The Flaming Lips, Cult rockers British Sea Power, Chicago’s OK go and Alice Cooper.

Created by the people behind The Warehouse Project and Ear ToThe Ground; Live from Jodrell Bank promises to be nothing but spectacular.

Tickets went on sale this morning and can be brought from Ticket Line, Skiddle, HMV and Quay Tickets and are priced at £35 plus booking fee.

Kendal Calling co-promoter Andy Smith comments, “We’re a big fan of the unusual and the unique and by combining the incredible venue of Jodrell Bank and an amazing live performance by The Flaming Lips, this is going to undoubtedly be one of their most memorable shows.
