John Franceschi, You Me At Six frontman, said: “We are really excited to play Sonisphere! It’s going to be a lot of fun performing at such a great rock festival.”

In just a couple of years, Josh, Chris, Dan, Matt and Max have gone from playing dingy rock bars to travelling on the road supporting the likes of Angels & Airwaves, Fall Out Boy and Paramore, in some of the world’s best rock venues. The band have also gathered large crowds at their own  gigs with adoring fans filling clubs and theatres, including two sell out nights at the Hammersmith Apollo. Their biggest singles to date which are sure to go down a storm at Sonisphere are, “Save it for the bedroom”, “Finders keepers” and “Underdog”.

You Me At Six released their first album back in 2008, which went straight in at number 25. Since then the band has matured and their latest album peaked at number 5 in the official UK chart.

The latest eight bands to be added to the Sonisphere Knebworth Festival line up are: You Me At Six, All Time Low, Sum 41, House of Pain, Arch Enemy, Periphery, Grinspoon and Fozzy.
